#5, Tie Rod (Brace Rod, Double End Rod)
Tie Rods, Tie Bars, Brace Rods or Double End Rods, are slender structural rods with threaded portions at each end used as a tie and capable of carrying tensile loads only. Tie rod assemblies are used in various applications such as cross bracing, canopies, and pipe hangers.
